What Makes V8 Different?
Installation - There is no need for local V8 installation or configuration changes as TruTac host and support the IT infrastructure where the data and images reside. All you need is an internet connected computer. Installation of data capture equipment such as scanners is easy, ‘literally plug and play’ as hardware is instantly recognised.
Data Capture Application – The unique DCA sits on your desktop and acts as your chart manager to capture, transfer and manage all scans, data downloads and transfers. This powerful tool has many features including alerting you to any waiting files, re-scan requests and other important messages.
Powerful – Configurable KPI settings alert when limits have been reached to enable accurate monitoring and reporting on drivers, vehicles and sites. This feature enables managers to focus on the most important information. All data and reports are easily exported or printed. The ShowTac function is also powerful as it gives unique accuracy and detailed visibility when viewing chart images.
Simple to Use - For example DCA information is presented in easy to recognise Green, Amber, Red colours. V8 is user intuitive, with simple navigation, so complex training is not required. Visual prompts highlight important incidents and warnings. Maintenance of driver and vehicle records is easy with multiple pick functions.
Secure – All DCA and V8 settings are password protected and can be configured to suit all types and size of operation. User level security can even be changed depending on job role.
