What is TruControl?

TruControl is a market-leading tachograph analysis and compliance management solution for analogue, digital and mixed fleets. TruControl is used to manage legislation compliance and is used by leading transport companies analyse over 10,000,000 analogue and digital tachograph charts each year. TruControl is easy to use, cost-effective, and drives efficiency and performance improvements.

Fully Flexible Solution

TruControl is fully flexible as clients can adopt it in a range of deployment methods from installed to web based and different configuration methods. We design our products to solve your business needs, taking the time to listen, making sure your system is the perfect fit. Our support line is charged at the standard BT landline rate and will soon be changing to a FREE 0800 number and our email support is FREE. ALternative providers are known to use premium-rate phone lines charging upwards of 50p per min (inexcess of £30 per hour) among other hidden charges.

Complete Management Control 

TruControl is an easy to use and powerful management tool. Digital and analogue charts are seamlessly merged free of charge and digital data is downloaded and analysed instantly. Analogue (paper) charts are scanned from depot, encrypted, compressed and set to us for analysis - we do everything else (data entry, analysis, reporting). Some other systems require you to scan charts AND do the data-entry work. These systems can easily be open to abuse as team members can change infringements and put you at serious risk of VOSA fines.

Unrivalled Reporting

TruControl has 75 configurable driver, vehicle and site reports, including: Drivers Hours' Law analysis reports, Infringement summary reports, Working Time Directive (WTD) reports, Exception reports, Site comparison reports, Chart submission reports, Vehicle reports and Trend reports. The 'favourite reports' function puts the power of TruControl at your fingertips. All reports can be produced and printed at the touch of a button or are online on in a secure portal from any Internet browser (depending on the deployment method you choose). Reports are KPI exception based and can be easily exported to Excel and Word.

There are a number of bolt on modules which add value to the TruControl. Infringement Debrief Module (IDM) enables debriefing and recording of notes and then stores the document in a secure location. Agency Costing Module (ACM) enables accurate calculations of agency pay and considerably reduces administration time, duplication and human error.

TruControl Product Options

TruControl Full – This gives the complete set of reports and management control available from the most powerful analysis and compliance management tool on the market. All our solutions are developed in house, by our own software development team. All solutions provide comprehensive, exception based management reporting across multiple locations, drivers and vehicles.

TruControl on the Web – This has all the power of TruControl but is web based and is accessible from any PC with an Internet Browser.

TruControl Lite – This a cost effective solution for smaller depots and captures tachograph data in the same way as TruControl Full.  TruControl Lite has most of the advantages of a full TruControl solution – whilst it doesn't include some of the management tools, diagnostics, KPI and benchmarking capabilities of a complete system – it is a truly cost effective replacement solution for postal bureau analysis.

TruControl SMART – TruControl SMART is unique, it provides complete control over tachograph analysis. Traditional systems provide only 2 options; outsourced chart analysis, which takes time for results to be returned or in-house analysis which can be unreliable and time consuming.

SMART enables operators to analyse charts internally, externally or utilise a combination of both:

Infringement De-brief Module (IDM) - Infringement De-brief module is a value adding enhancement for TruControl. IDM enables the tracking and auditing of bad practices of consistently offending drivers. This solution is designed for managing the driver infringement process in conjunction with TruControl Full and TruControl Lite – this module alerts managers to those drivers that require urgent consultation and management of disciplinary procedures.

Agency Costing Module (ACM) - Agency Costing Module was the first released in 2005 and has proved very popular for Transport Operations who use different agencies. Specifically designed to keep track of costs in a multi-agency environment, it works with both Full and Lite TruControl. This module is an extension to the Chart Analysis programme in TruControl and provides operators with the ability to monitor the costs attributed to using agency drivers on a daily basis.
