TRUTAC TELEMATICS PARTNERSHIP LEADS THE WAY

The Vehicle Telematics System (VTS) is not just vehicle tracking. It utilises intelligent vehicle based technology, which dynamically connects the vehicle with the office for transmission of key performance data, including digital tachograph and other vital information. Within VTS, exception based reporting identifies ineffective drivers or vehicles and highlights cost saving areas. VTS takes account of target levels for fuel usage and cost, flagging up exceptions and trends through simple visual displays and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). The companies first met at the Multi-modal event in April at the NEC and realised they could offer significant additional benefits to clients by utilising each companies expertise. Progressive Logistics provide a wide range of consultancy services which focus on reducing transport costs and improving efficiencies whilst complying with the latest legislation. TruTac deliver transport solutions providing not only tachograph analysis but legislation compliance, O’licence protection and cost reductions through increasing management control and decreasing administration. BP OIL CHOOSE TRUCONTROL

TruTac are proud to announce BP Oil have chosen the TruControl Compliance Management system across their 13 UK Terminals. The in-depth selection process involved various selection stages and criteria tests. BP Oil decided on TruControl because of the ease of use, quality of reporting and TruTac’s fitness as a long term partner of BP. One of the key advantages of TruControl was the driver infringement module which allows for the tracking and auditing of offending drivers and recording praise for good performance. In order to fully understand BP Oil operations, Darren Dawson, Kingsbury Terminal Manager, agreed TruTac should have first hand experience of BP Oil’s transport business. As a result, Gerard Kerbegian, TruTac Business Development Manager spent a day out in a BP Oil Tanker. Before going out in a vehicle transporting dangerous goods, Gerard had to undertake ADR training to become an official crew member. Gerard stated ‘my head was buzzing with the amount of crucial information I received’. Gerard found the day an unforgettable experience and would like to thank all of the BP Oil Kingsbury Terminal crew.


TRUTAC LAUNCH UNIQUE SYSTEM

TruTac, a leading UK compliance management company, have launched a unique Time and Attendance System (TAS).
